Training and Testing events are not about learning to fly R/C models, but they can be about how to pass your A test, often regarded as a sign that you are safe to fly solo, without supervision, at club or non-public events.

Coming up very soon, there is a Training and Testing weekend on Saturday & Sunday 3rd and 4th of October, hosted by the Hamilton club and  run jointly by the BMFA Scotland Area and the SAA. Both organisations will have examiners present and will give prospective candidates who wish to visit a good idea of how the events run, what candidates need to do and what examiners do, and the standard of flying needed to pass. You may also see tests at other levels that you may aspire to.
