We apologise for the late notification of the Area AGM. The date was decided at the 2025 AGM, but website and email problems have delayed this notification. As of today we seem to be back in business.

The BMFA Scotland Area AGM will take place as planned on  on Tuesday 10^th November. Please note the date and prepare. Select one member of your club to register as the voting rep, and all members are encouraged to attend the meeting and contribute. You should receive an email regarding this soon, if not already.

Nearer the time a further email will be sent with a registration link and last year’s AGM minutes. The AGM will be followed by a general members’ meeting at which items not on the AGM agenda may be discussed and decided. Please note the AGM date 10^th November at 7 pm, and look out for the registration link in another email.

To allow the meeting to run smoothly, we ask that all voting reps have a voting card to hand, something about 10 cm across with one side white to vote yes, and the other side black to vote no. Simply holding up the appropriate side of the card allows the chairman and secretary to note the voting status of the meeting.

For the meeting to be considered valid, and take valid decisions, we need a minimum number of voting reps to be present (a quorum). We implore all BMFA registered clubs to be represented. Decisions are made by votes of club reps, not by the officers (unless also a club rep).
