Dear BMFA  Scotland Area member,

The notification of the next Scotland Area General members’ meeting was sent out as a block email to all BMFA members in Scotland, back in May.
Just in case you didn’t get it, or didn’t read it, or it went in your junk file (I know emails fall through the cracks sometimes) here it is below. If you didn’t get the email, please let us know.

The general members meeting will take place online as a Zoom call at 7 pm on Tuesday 24th June 2025.

Details of the zoom meeting and a joining link will be emailed to you after you submit the form. Please keep the details of the zoom information as you will need this to join the meeting.

Each affiliated club gets one vote, but all club members are encouraged to attend, and may speak at the meeting. Affiliated Clubs are encouraged to choose a BMFA member in advance to be their voting delegate to the meeting, and the delegate will fill in YES and club name when registering.
As a time saver on the night, would all club delegates eligible to vote please make up a voting card, with a white side for YES, black side for NO. (12 to 15 cm square or circle). Then, when it comes to a vote, only the voting delegates will hold up their card to the camera making the vote plain and easy to count.

7) Area Zoom account. A Scotland Area administered Zoom account is required for committee meetings and would also allow all affiliated clubs in Scotland can use it for their committee meetings.

8) Payment of fees to clubs for hosting Training and Testing events. Although the item was agreed at the last meeting, this item requires an official vote by club delegates.

9) Following the failure of the Fly-in at Glenrothes, the BMFA and SAA would like to hold a joint Fly-in this year for the benefit of all Scottish Aeromodellers.
